ITINERARY: Dehradun – Yamunotri – Gangotri – Kedarnath – Badrinath – Dehradun

 

About:Chardham Yatra is the set of steps that leads pilgrims step by step nearer to salvation. Beginning from Yamunotri, the visit leads to Gangotri, Kedarnath, and concludes on Badrinath. These four sacred sites are part of the Chota Char Dham of Uttarakhand and very much sacred by Hindus.


All of these four sites hold dedicated significance to meticulous divine beings. The Goddess Yamuna, who accompanies the pilgrims to the high altitudes of the enchanting Rawai Valley, is worshipped at Yamunotri. It is believed that taking a bath in the waters of the Yamuna offers protection from unfortunate death to the devotee.


Gangotri is dedicated to the Goddess Ganga. The holy place overlooks the River Bhagirathi, another name of River Ganga – the name having been derived from the legend of the ancient King.


Bhagirath’s penance that succeeded in bringing her upon the earth from the paradise. Kedarnath is devoted to Lord Shiva and is also a part of the PanchKedar. It is the northernmost Jyotirlinga and is near to the source of the holy River Mandakini. Badrinath is devoted to Lord Vishnu. It is positioned on the banks of the River Alaknanda. According to tale, Lord Vishnu meditated here while his consort Lakshmi took the form of a berry (Badri) tree to offer him shade.

 

Day 01: Dehradun To Yamunotri


06:00 AM – Departure Sdhara Helipad, Dehradun 06:30 AM – Arrival Kharsali Helipad, Yamunotri.


This is starting day of the chardham yatra by helicopter. Passengers will check-out early morning from the hotel at 05:00 am. Our staff will pick up the passengers from the hotel and take them to Sahastradhara Helidrome, where our ground staff will warmly welcome them. The staff will then settle the passengers in the hotel, which is within walking distance from the helipad.


After breakfast, the organizers will take passengers for Yamunotri Darshan.
Additionally, the approximate time taken for Yamunotri Temple Darshan is approximately 05 hours and 30 minutes for the round-trip. Moreover, the Yamunotri trek spans 06 km one-way, offering a picturesque and rewarding journey to the revered temple.

Day 02 :Yamunotri To Gangotri



Furthermore, at 06:30 AM, we will depart from Yamunotri Helipad, and by 07:00 AM, we will gracefully arrive at Harsil Helipad. This significant milestone will mark the commencement of our divine journey towards the sacred destination of Gangotri.


Passengers will check-out by 05:30 hrs. Departure from Kharsali will be at 0630 hrs, & the estimated time of arrival at Harsil/Jhalla will be 07:00 hrs.


Upon landing at Jhalla, the organizers will promptly take the passengers to Harsil village, where they will be provided with assistance during the hotel check-in process.

 

Harsil – The second destination of our tour, also known for the extensive apple orchards there, is the most scenic and beautiful destination of this tour.
After breakfast, the organizers will take the passengers for darshan at Gangotri Dham.
Furthermore, the approximate time taken for Gangotri Temple Darshan is 3 hours and 30 minutes for the round-trip. Additionally, the road distance to Gangotri temple spans approximately 25 km, equating to a convenient 50-minute drive.
Sightseeing at Harsil: Harsil has many places & nature walks around to explore.
The organizers will take passengers to explore any of the following options:
Bagodi Village walk / Short trek to Chholmi village / Nature walk from Jhalla / Shiv Temple in Harsil.

 

Day 03 : Gangotri To Kedarnath


07:00 AM – Departure Harsil Helipad, Gangotri 07:30 AM – Arrival Kedarnath(Sersi) Helipad
Subsequently, the organizers will proceed to check out the passengers by 06:00 hrs. The passengers are expected to arrive at Sersi by 07:30 hrs.


Sersi-We operate the shuttle services for Kedarnath ji Shrine from here.
Passenger will be ferried to Kedarnath dham for Darshan in a shuttle services flight, after their Breakfast.
Moreover, the approximate time taken for Kedarnath Temple Darshan is around 02 hours. Additionally, the shuttle services from Sersi to Kedarnath entail a short flight duration of approximately 07 minutes.
Sightseeing at Sersi: Triyuginarayan Temple- it is the venue of the celestial marriage of Lord Shiva & Goddess Parvati or Gaurikund.

 

Day 04 :Kedarnath To Badrinath


08.00 AM – Departure from Kedarnath / Sersi 08:30 AM – Arrival Badrinath Helipad
Subsequently, passengers will enjoy a delightful breakfast by 07:00 hrs at Sersi and ensure they are ready for their flight to Badrinath by 08:00 hrs. Following a satisfying lunch, the organizers will then accompany the passengers for a soulful darshan at the Badrinath temple in the afternoon.


Approximately, it takes approximately 01-1.5 hours to have darshan at the Badrinath Temple. Furthermore, visitors can immerse themselves in the divine atmosphere and seek blessings during this sacred experience. The organizers will transport the passengers from the hotel to the temple by car.


Sightseeing at Badrinath: Mana Village – Known as the ‘Last village of India’, due to its proximity to the China border. Evening Aarti at Badrinath Temple – Swaran/Chandi Aarti (on additional payment basis direct.

 

Day 05 : Badrinath To Dehradun


Subsequently, at 08:30 AM, we will depart from Badrinath Helipad, and by 09:30 AM, we will gracefully arrive at Dehradun Helipad, concluding our remarkable journey.


Meanwhile, passengers who have pre-booked the Maha Abhishek Puja should ensure that they are prepared early in the morning by 03:30 hrs. Subsequently, the auspicious Puja ceremony will commence from 04:30 hrs and continue until 06:30 hrs.
Badrinath ji hotel check-out time is 0730 hrs.


Estimated time of arrival will be 09:30 hrs at Sahastradhara. On arrival, our team will be present to receive the guests. Later, the passengers will retrieve their luggage from the cloak rooms at the Dehradun hotel, after which the organizers will arrange for their drop-off at the airport/railway station.
Lastly, after the final transfer, we will bid farewell to the passengers, concluding our memorable journey together.

GUIDELINES FOR PASSENGERS:

 

  • There is very limited space for luggage in the helicopter. Only 5 kgs luggage per passenger will be permitted. Passengers should carry only handbags as suitcases cannot be kept in the helicopter.
  • All temples in Chardham are located in high altitude areas.
  • All passengers undertaking this yatra should be medically and physically fit.
  • Passengersare advised to carry woolenclothes.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

 

  • The quality of accommodation at Yamunotri is basic and so passengers should not have very high expectations.
  • Only 5 Kg baggage per passenger will be permitted. Passengers are advised not to carry big suitcases as there is very small baggage space inside helicopter. Passengers bringing excess baggage might not be allowed to take the same in the chopper by pilot.
  • Hotel accommodation for 4nights as per itinerary
  • Children above the age of 2 years will be considered full ticket
  • There is no provision of concession to children or senior citizens
  • The booking has to be done in advance with a deposit of 50% of the package amount.
  • Full amount has to be deposited before the start of journey
  • In case the journey is not finished within the stipulated time and passengers are not able to visit one or more Dhams due to bad weather conditions/technical reasons then liability of the company will be limited to refund of unutilized sector/s.
  • Rescheduling of booking to a next date will be done subject to availability and on payment of 10% of the cost. This will be permitted only if applied 7 days before journey date. In case the rescheduling is requested with less than 7 days to the journey then booking will be treated as cancelled and a fresh booking will be given subject to availability.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: If passengers wish to cancel their booking then they will have to pay following cancellation charges

 

  • Upto 7 days before journey 20% of amount
  • Upto 48 hours before journey 50 % of amount
  • Less than 48 hours before journey 75% of amount
  • Less than 24 hours before journey No Refund
